Antoinette Kirkwood

Bardic Edition is saddened to announce that our dear friend and colleague Antoinette Kirkwood has passed away
(28th January, 2014) at the age of 84.

Antoinette Kirkwood (1930-2014). She served on the Executive Committee of the Composers’ Guild of Great Britain from 1969-1973). Her Symphony was broadcast by Radio Eireann and this work is very notable achievement, proving that she could write a memorable tune in a definite key which could hold the listener’s interest for a considerable time.
